Reasons for Choosing Laurier

I chose Laurier for its strong reputation in marketing research and its supportive and collaborative academic environment. The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics provides an excellent platform for exploring interdisciplinary topics including consumer behaviour, consumer psychology, and the role of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence in marketing.

The opportunity to work closely with faculty whose expertise aligns with my research interests, along with Laurier’s emphasis on connecting academic research with real-world applications, made it an ideal place to pursue my doctoral studies.

Research Interests

My research interests focus on consumer behaviour and decision making, particularly how psychology and emerging technologies influence consumers and marketing. Areas of interest include:

  • Consumer Behaviour and Decision Making
  • Consumer Psychology
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Marketing
  • Autonomous Vehicles (AVs)
  • Service Failures

Career Goal

My long-term goal is to become a faculty member at a leading global university, contributing to the advancement of marketing knowledge while mentoring future scholars. I also aim to remain engaged with the marketing industry, applying academic research to real-world challenges and helping bridge the gap between theory and practice.
